And Finally…

This is CUE’s third Easter (hats off to players who were there for the first!) - and we’ve celebrated with everything from the Ostereierbaum to Fabergé Eggs. Well, finally can you get the iconic Easter Egg itself, which gets mightier with every Egg in your deck (and there are quite a few!). 

Instructions for how to craft it are at the bottom of this post.

Today’s Free Egg and Easter Packs are out now, with Orphic Egg, the Scoppio del Carro, and Påskekrim. (Påskekrim in particular may make you reconsider how you spend your Easter break, the way Jolabokaflod redefined Christmas Eve.)

Great value Easter Egg and Easter Bonnet bundles release at 12:00 UTC, alongside the League Spotlight pack which gives you another chance to get cards like UH-60 Black Hawk, Hera, and The Magician. Crikey.

And if you’re still feeling a little crabby after all that… well there’s a Crustaceans pack out at 15:00 UTC.

Tomorrow is Easter Monday… which is still a Monday, and so we have a new Theme and a new League:

Danger! 

BIG ENERGY leagues can be SCARY - and this week certainly fits the bill with a Starting Energy of 25, an Energy per Turn of 25 and an Energy Cap of 50. Even more dangerous - NO ENERGY MINIMUM!

There are a few frightening cards this week - Bugs get +70 Power, and Praying Mantis has been a massive pain or a key deck feature lately, depending on who you ask. (Keep an eye out in the near future for a change to the Lock mechanic…) 

Fearsome Fliers get +55 Power, (the UH-60 Black Hawk and Aeronvironment RQ-11 Raven provides awesome out-of album boosts) and Greek Mythology really has the chance to dominate some games with +20 Power!

Additionally, Legends of the Old West get +65 Power, Deep Ocean get +30 Power and Constellations (a fun deck for beginners) gets +20 Power.

Craft Your Own Easter Egg! Instructions

  1. You will need four of each new egg card, with one egg released per day over easter weekend. This will give you three to craft with, and one left over that you get to keep (remember: crafting requires duplicates). 
  2. One free egg card is available to each player on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Further copies can be found in the Easter Packs.
  3. The Easter Egg will only be craftable from 10am UTC on Sunday until 9am UTC on Tuesday, after which time the Easter Egg will become a Limited Legendary in Arts & Culture Specials, and will no longer be craftable. (NB The crafting must have started by this time, and not be cancelled.)
  4. The new egg cards to collect are as follows:


Day 1: Augustus Leopold Egg (Prominent Painters)

Day 2: Century Egg* (Curious Cuisine) 

Day 3: Orphic Egg (Ancient Greece)


Crafting Recipe : 

3 x Augustus Leopold Egg duplicates

3 x Century Egg duplicates

3 x Orphic Egg duplicates
