Good morning CUE Fans, we’re here today to bring word of a Balance Update that will be happening next Monday, 13th February at 09:00 UTC, where we will be nerfing a fairly significant amount of troublesome cards while buffing a few others that have needed some love for while!
We’ll obviously always be keeping an eye out for any card releases that blow the meta away and make emergency adjustments if needed, but we plan to make a focused Balance Update approximately once every three months to keep gameplay feeling fresh and exciting.
We understand how frustrating it can be if we nerf one of your favourite cards that you add to every deck, but we hope you can understand that to keep the game challenging but fair that these changes are a necessary part of trading card games - especially ones with an ongoing release schedule like ours! We will also make efforts when nerfing cards to buff others, levelling out the playing field for different deck types, and we prefer an incremental style of card adjustments - a few power can make a big difference! We will also try to make changes affect a card’s strength but not its requirements, so that your existing decks containing the card still function perfectly well.
We’ve put a lot of effort into this balance update and we hope for the vast majority of you that these changes are a welcome improvement of the game!
