As Beauties and Beasts week comes to a close, you’ve got enough time to rest your eyes from the sights you’ve seen before a brand new League kicks off next week. The rules can be found below if you’re brave enough to take a peek. There’s also something pretty crafty at the end of today’s news so make sure you read on!
Today sees the return of the Podium pack from 12:00 UTC which contains a basic Rare, an Epic and a Legendary card. Perfect to prepare you for a new week of challengers! As always, the League Spotlight pack is crammed with goodies, including a chance for a Featured Legendary card. This week’s Featured cards include the majestic Moose, the monstrous Megaraptor and the mighty Megaloceros (which funnily enough is what we think you might get if you crossed a Moose with a Megaraptor).
And for today’s final pack, Greek Mythology is making a return from 15:00 UTC with a chance for you to stock up and snatch any cards you’ve been missing from this truly epic collection.
To end the week, we’ve got a new Crafted card for you - the Nine Realms of Norse Mythology!
If you’re up to date with your Norse lore, it’s time to start brainstorming - as each crafting ingredient has a (somewhat tenuous) link to each of the nine realms, but we’ll be releasing clues in the news throughout the next week to help you on your journey.
There are 7 basic common cards, and 2 basic rare cards used in the recipe, and don’t forget, you’ll need duplicates of these cards to build the Nine Realms!
The first clue is… “Makes it hard to see in the realms of mist…”

En. Er. Gy. Man. Age. Ment. You might be bored of us saying it, but it won’t stop us! The Energy Rules for this week are a Starting Energy of 13, with 11 Energy per Turn, an Energy Cap of 23 and a Minimum Energy of 9.
Herbivores pick up a massive +90 Power, and with low-cost Herbivores boosts coming from Megaraptor and Platybelodon, and a permanent Energy reduction from Moose, there are plenty of ways to play.
Watching the Skies might not need the help, but it still gets an +60 Power Arena Boost this week, and with loads of boosts, and a fun combo with Wonders of Construction using Mnajdra and Jantar Mantar, not to mention the awesome Greenwich Mean Time, this deck could be a super viable option.
Or maybe you prefer something cuter - with Sea Birds’ +55 Power, alongside the March of the Penguins combo and Little Penguin’s incredible power, we’re sure we’ll be seeing some of these flapping around.
Gorgeous Graphic Design gets +50 Power, Unruly Rulers gets +40, and Mammals get +40 Power too!
