Between a rock and a fruity place

Behind the scenes, the CUE Quiz is still cooking and the community Mythic balance patch is coming along nicely. Out front, though, it's business as usual with some brilliant new cards dropping this week.

Let's have a peek…

Big stone energy

Among this week's Limited Epics: Menhir. Enormous stones planted upright across three continents, older than the pyramids, in patterns still not fully understood. Medieval scholars looked at these and said "now, we're not saying it's giants… but..." Modern archaeologists are still guessing: possibly ritual, possibly territorial, possibly astronomical, possibly all three. Giants remain unavailable for comment.

Fruitmaxxing

Also landing this week is the Red Ruffed Lemur. Native to northeastern Madagascar, it face-plants into flowers to pollinate them, hollers so loudly its calls carry half a mile, and eats basically nothing but fruit. When it's not doing lemur things, it sunbathes with arms outstretched like a tiny guru receiving cosmic updates.

Fun Fact of the Week

In 2019, contractors renovating a Watford pub found a small stoneware jug hidden in the chimney. Inside: fish hooks, human teeth, and unidentified liquid. It was a witch bottle – a 1600s English tradition of packing nails, hair and urine into pottery to trap evil spirits. The pub, one assumes, had excellent energy.

Coming your way this week…
