Case Closed

We’re ready to shut the manilla folder on this week’s Unsolved Mysteries case and file it away in the big filing cabinet where we keep all our other bygone themes. But there’s still a few final pieces of the puzzle left in the shape of a couple of packs in store and 2 final Crafting clues over on Instagram! Best of luck, detectives, we’re all counting on you.

12:00 UTC

Add some armor to those History decks with the History Legendary pack. Containing 1 Limited Legendary and 2 Basic Legendaries, all from History!

Sometimes the biggest mysteries are the ones we humans had no part in. In the Natural Monuments pack, we’ve got 2 new cards that make for some strange shapes and fantastical locations!

  • Karlu Karlu - these impressive stone boulders will, when played, for every History card in your deck, up to a maximum of 6, give your Natural Monuments cards +4 Power until played.
  • Trona Pinnacles - these formations are so strange that they were actually used as a Star Trek backdrop so, when played, give your Stage and Screen cards in-hand +23 Power this turn.

17:00 UTC

If you’re looking to go back in time today, look no further than the Bone Bonanza Paleo Album Chaser. With 1 Limited Rare, 2 random Limiteds and 3 random Basics, all from Paleo, that’s something to stomp about!

Midnight UTC

Between next week’s League rules and tonight’s Nebulae pack, you might have a very good clue about next week’s theme! If you hear a twit-twoo, it might be coming from the Owl Nebula. This beautiful nebula will, when drawn, for every Space card in your deck, up to a maximum of 6, give your cards with "Owl" in the name, wherever they are, +6 Power for 4 turns.

LEAGUE RULES

-----------------------

Watch out for your Energy this week, while there’s a Starting Energy of 60, an Energy Cap of 70, and Minimum Energy of 10, there’s an Energy per Turn of just 7!

In our beautiful garden a Plant Life league buff seems inevitable, and it’s gaining +100 Power in the Guaranteed Life on Land arena! There’s enough Plant Life boosts to fill an entire deck of its own, but we recommend Poison Ivy and Green Man for pure power, and War of the Roses and Christmas Rose for massive Energy savings, that could come in very handy with this week’s Energy Rules.

Natural Monuments get +80 Power this week, so a Science and Life on Land split deck should bring a lot of power to your play. Try Ngorongoro Crater and Rock Hyrax to ramp that Power up, and use the classic cards of Carl Linnaeus and Albert Einstein for the album boosts!

Curious Cuisine also gets +70 Power this week, alongside more card boosts than we know what to do with. Choose your favorites and tuck in!

Meanwhile Herbivores, Ocean Mammals and Plundering Pirates all get +50 Power in their respective arenas!
