Today's new card is Chess! I was never any good at Chess myself; maybe it's because I would only play against people who had, like, practiced and learned the strategy, but I think it's because it doesn't have stuff like cool miniatures and saving throws and rolls to hit and isn't Warhammer, basically. Not that I was any good at Warhammer either, but I'd much rather lose to a badass orc with a chainsaw axe than a jumped-up pepper grinder.

Anyway, the card - it's got a couple of firsts attached to it.
First first is that it's the first card in the new Playtime collection! We're going to expand it over time with all kinds of toys and games, from tabletop to playground, competitive to cooperative.
Second first is that it's the first card to directly target the card played opposite it! When you play Chess, the card in your opponent's corresponding card slot gets hit for -36 Power! We're branching out with more of these positional cards in the future, pushing CUE's design space further by making it so that players need to think more about where they're playing their cards. Exciting times!
