CUE Cards UNSOLVED

Alerts Bug Update:

As some of you might have already experienced, there's a significant number of players who are currently struggling to get into the game. We've identified that the problem is caused by players having a large number of alerts, both new and read.

The solution to this problem is that we need a clean slate on all alerts in order for the game to work. After this one off wipe, the alert history will only go back 7 days.

We are aware that players do like to hold onto these alerts as a way of tracking trade history so we'll be looking at supplying a trade history in the future.

We understand this might be frustrating for some of you but it's something that must be done in order to get you all into the game smoothly!

-----------------------

We’re standing in front of a cork board covered in pins and red string because it’s Unsolved Mysteries week. The historical conundrums, riddles in nature, and the enigmas of space await so grab your notebook and magnifying glass and let’s look at the theories…

In the spirit of mystery, we’ve got a brand new Crafted card today - the Mandelbrot Set, which might look like beautiful fractal patterns but is actually an incredibly complex theory and equation that makes things look pretty!

To craft this card, you’re going to have to keep an eye on our Instagram stories this week, where we’re kicking each day off with a clue about a crafting ingredient (which also happens to contain a pretty pattern!) and today, we’re starting with 2 clues! Best of luck and you better make sure you begin the day with something delicious because you’re going to need all the brain fuel you can get!

9:00 UTC

Step into the crime lab and get your decks looking smart with the Future Tech Card Back pack. Get a new card back as well as 3 Limited Rares or better.

12:00 UTC

The Unsolved Mystery League pack will get you ready for a showdown with cards from Deep Ocean, Radical Rockets and Espionage. You can also check out the rules below and start building those decks for success!

To further strengthen those decks, we’ve got the League Spotlight pack and they’re still on 3 for 2! Pick them up for a chance at a Featured Limited Legendary like John Glenn, Saturnalia or even Thibaud’s Treasure.

If you want to prepare for the coming week, the Crack the Case pack contains enough gems, coins and Limited cards to get you ready for unraveling a mystery or two.

This week’s first brainteasers come from Planetside, we’ve got 2 strange occurrences that even scientists are scratching their heads over.

  • Sputnik Planitia - this heart-shaped formation on Pluto will, when drawn, give your Common and Rare The Solar Systems cards +15 Power until played. Repeat if your deck contains Pluto, Dwarf Planet.
  • Apollodorus - who knows what created these spider-like trenches on Mercury but, when played next to Mercury, this will give your Planetside cards +18 Power until played.

Start your week with a burst of energy (or, you know, gems, coins and cards) with the Pump It Up pack!

Midnight UTC

Beware of stray cosmic rays in the Mega Math pack because today’s new card is the Single-Event Upset and, when drawn, if your deck contains at least 6 Mega Math cards, your Mega Math cards lose -16 Power until played, and your non-Mega Math cards, wherever they are, gain +16 Power until played.

-----------------------

LEAGUE RULES

-----------------------

There’s a lot of Energy to play with this week, with a Starting Energy of 20, an Energy per Turn of 20, an Energy Cap of 60 and no Minimum Energy!

Manifest a win with your Deep Ocean cards and their +100 Power Arena Boost using The Magician and The Devil Tarot cards with Giant Devil Ray for a burst of power, and get your hands on a Dumbo Octopus card for a massive +25 Power permanently to all the Common cards from the collection.

Radical Rockets gets +80 Power, and still work famously well with the Amazing Astronauts thanks to cards like John Glenn, Sally Ride and Gennady Padalka.

If you fancy a bit of a mix-up, try pairing either collection with Espionage, which also gets +80 Power this week, by using Caribbean Reef Octopus for extra power in Oceans and Seas, or the Roswell Incident for Space Power!

Cool Cats also pick up +70 Power this week, Monsters of the Deep get +60 (try pairing with Deep Ocean for those Magician gains?!) and Hidden Gems get +50 Power.
