CUE News - Grovelling Apology Edition

Dan

So. There wasn't a News Post yesterday. We're extremely sorry that some of you missed out on what would no doubt have been a fantastic piece, expertly weaving in useful information about the days' releases with good-natured but incisive humour for the whole family to enjoy.

Indeed, it cannot be understated how deftly the writer threaded the comedic needle between the new Fusion card, Color Spectrum, being an easier-to-achieve recipe as a means of giving newer users a chance to taste the wonders of fusing earlier, and a scathing yet tempered indictment of geothermal fracking. Don't worry, we'll get our Pulitzer next year.

For now, please accept our apologies as we go through today's releases. Here's an apologetic-looking Golden Tortoise Beetle;

How can you say no to that, eh? A card that'll make your Hidden Gems better (not the only one we've got in the near future either...), AND reduce the Energy cost of your Bugs? Why, the only way you could deny this gorgeous creature is if you had a heart of stone, or possibly because you prefer deck types it's not compatible with. In either case, YOU should probably be doing the apologising.

And look out for some Paleontology Avatar Packs a bit later on - we've got some cosmetic doozies this week:

I mean, DODO IN A TOP HAT. It doesn't get better than that. I can guarantee you that the last thing it did before it went extinct was file a witticism-riddled column on the scourge of the petrol motorcar for The New Yorker Magazine.
