CUE Update 2.3.0

Friend Referrals - An Update

Earlier we released CUE 2.3.0, which includes a new friend referral system - with rewards for helping us to spread the word (something we’re not always great at).

Two of the reward tiers included exclusive cards that can only be acquired this way - Phoenix and Spartacus.

The response from the community has been pretty unanimous, and we get your concerns. Expecting players to refer friends as the only way to acquire certain cards is a big ask.

Therefore, we will remove these cards from the referral rewards track and replace them with some equally awesome rewards that aren’t as off-putting to collectors but will still be rewarding to those who have already been awesome enough to send out friend recommendations.

The cards will stay live, but become pure Limited cards in their respective collections (and therefore collectable in all the usual ways).

We apologise for any consternation caused by this. We’re always keen to try new things, but players are the lifeblood of our game and it’s critical we make it right when we get it wrong.

Thanks for your patience.
