Day 3: Wrath

For Wrath day we could hardly look anywhere other than the Roman Empire collection, which has supplied us with a myriad of dastardly emperors.

There are four new cards entering the collection at 12:00 UTC:

Maximinus Thrax, who had a great name, massive hands and could eat and drink for Rome. This soldier takes some easy Power from an Innovations and/or Machines of War deck.

Vitellius, the charming lad who starved his mother to death and ate four feasts a day, was murdered after just 8 months in power. Fittingly, he brings big numbers to the first 8 turns of the game, but no more.

Caracalla, who was loved by his army for doubling their pay, but was murdered by a minister for all the… well, murdering he was doing, gives +13 permanent power to 5 or fewer common cards.

And Domitian, the dude so nasty he was wiped from history… but now has his own CUE card. Funny how that works. As an autocrat of the people, he performs spectacularly in a Commons and Rare deck.

If you’re running low on supplies, we can now fill Cups, Boots AND Coffers. Opening hours from 09:00 UTC.

Also… er, is it June already? The ancient CUE Calendar of Birthstones tells us it must be, with your chance to get guaranteed Pearl and Oyster cards at 09:00 UTC.
