Our journey Around the World in 20 Cards takes us to South America today. As well as the new Majestic Mountain card, Aconcagua (the highest point in the western hemisphere!), we've got our first new Good News card in a long while.
For the players who haven't been around all that long, Good News cards are cards we release sporadically when something good happens in the world. We did a couple of them last year, and our first of 2022 is the Galapagos Marine Reserve!
The President of Ecuador, Guillermo Lasso (no relation to Ted), recently decreed his government would be expanding the Galapagos Islands protected zone by 50%, allowing it to incorporate an important sea life migratory corridor. That's worth a card!
