UPDATE: Our apologies, but we've noted that today's Year in CUE pack was releasing the 6 featured cards overall at significantly less than the advertised odds of 20%. We've fixed the pack and refunded 50% of the purchases of that pack made before 2pm UTC. Happy New Year!
Bring on the streamers and party poppers because 2023 is here! (And another chaotic year is thankfully over!) We hope you’re having a lovely New Year’s Day, no matter how you choose to spend it. Plus, we hope Hearth Zone week has been as cozy for you as it has been for us! Next week’s theme is wonderfully mysterious but as always, you can scroll down and find the League rules below if you like to know what the future holds.
9:00 UTC
Kick things off with the Triple Threat and pick up 3 random Limited cards.
If you’re a New Year baby, the January Birthstone pack is just for you! Including your birthstone Garnet, Henry Highland Garnet (see what we did there) and 1 Limited Rare or better.
We’re looking back on 2022’s releases with the Year in CUE 1 pack. This pack reflects on releases from January and February 2022 and you’ll nab 4 random Basic cards, 1 Limited and the chance for 1 of 6 Featured Limited cards, including Goblin Shark, Binary and Ouroboros. All cards are from January and February so this is the perfect pack if you missed out the first time!
Feel festive with the New Year’s Day pack which comes with the mischievous Namahage. This pesky ogre will, when drawn, if you are winning the round, give your opponent's cards in-hand -25 Power this turn.
12:00 UTC
If you’re chasing those last few League battles then the League Spotlight pack will come in handy with a chance of a Featured Limited Legendary including The Emperor, Payara, or even The Diamond Planet.
Start your year with a bang with the 2023 Kickstarter pack. Featuring a mountain of gems, coins, Limited cards and some generators too!
15:00 UTC
If you need to recover from the festive period and want to hibernate for a while, why not grab the Going Underground pack. With cute, burrowing beasties like Lemmings, the Dwarf Hotot and Pika.

LEAGUE RULES
-----------------------
This week’s league has a Starting Energy of 14, an Energy Per Turn of 12, an Energy Cap of 30 and a Minimum Energy of 10.
With Fabulous Fish picking up +105 Power this league, you could try for a Fabulous and Feisty fish hybrid deck using cards like Tongue-Eating Louse to hit some big turns, or use Archegosaurus, Fishing Cat and Volans with an Awesome Aviation card in a Rainbow deck to maximise your output.
Tarot gets +80 in the Arts and Culture Arena, so there’s no better time than to try the Hierophant’s Tarot combo, or go all out with this collection with The Emperor, the Fool and Crystal Ball for some great (although sometimes unpredictable) Tarot turns.
Forces of Nature gets +75 Power, so between Itztlacoliuhqui’s permanent Power boost and Tropicbird’s Energy saving, you could be in for some decent, yet cheap turns!
Exploring the Stars, Hidden Gems and Monsters of the Deep also gain +60 Power, +55 Power and +50 Power respectively in their arenas.
