We're going all in to save the rainforest this June, and there's a lot landing across the game. Here are a few things to look forward to:
Balance patch incoming!
The patch is sealed in a wooden box, deep in the rainforest. But we’ll retrieve it tomorrow. Keep your eyes peeled.
Life on Land takeover
This week, arena bonuses only count for collections from the Life on Land album. Bananas, beefalos, basset hounds – if it lives on land, it scores.
Forest Friend packs
As part of the Green Game Jam, every Forest Friends Pack you buy this month sends 30% of the proceeds straight to the Rainforest Alliance. A new pack drops every Friday and is available to buy throughout the weekend.
Something's rustling in the leaves…
Some cards may have grown mysterious new question marks, and a Save the Rainforest secret combo is hiding somewhere in the game. We're not saying any more than that…
Build your own alliance
A brand-new fusion card is dropping on Wednesday! *drumroll please*... the Rainforest Alliance. However, you'll need a very specific menagerie to summon it:
That’s a lot of sloths. Move quickly (unlike sloths).
Play freebird!
Literally, a free bird. Specifically, Hyacinth Macaw. Go get your hands on this big blue icon.
Fun Fact of the Week
The Peanut Bug is named for looking like a peanut from the side, but the peanut isn't actually what it's going for. That absurd snout is probably mimicking a small reptile, complete with fake eyes and teeth-like markings. If the lizard impression flops, it flashes bright wing colours instead. Plan A, Plan B, Plan Bug.
A jungle, a robe, and zero possessions
This week’s Limited Epic, the Thai Forest Tradition, is what you get when monks decide Buddhism needs less library and more jungle. In the late 19th century, a Theravāda branch took to tiger country to meditate on fear itself. Since they banned logging and hunting on their land, their monasteries now double as accidental wildlife sanctuaries.
Coming your way this week…
Hop in with the Amphibians, take flight with Birds, then prowl among the Cool Cats. Branch out into Plant Life, swing through the trees with Primates, and slither in close with Reptiles.
Energy Rules:
Featured Collections:
Amphibians
Birds
Cool Cats
Plant Life
Primates
Reptiles
As always,
Keep it CUE!
