It's Cute. It's Cuddly. It's Cute 'n' Cuddly.

It’s the week we’ve all been waiting for*. The crème de la crème of CUE releases. The feather in our cap. It’s Cute ’n’ Cuddly week, at last. And OMG, are we excited.

Our week commences with the league pack - a rare chance to complete your Little Critters collection - at 09:00 UTC, releasing alongside the Adorable Acquisition pack - full of (less cute, but still awesome) Coins, Gems and Cards.

At 12:00 UTC, your new favourite animal, the Rock Hyrax joins the Mammals collection, giving a permanent +11 Power if played between two Natural Monuments cards.

If looking at their sweet little face is giving you the warm fuzzies, you’ve got Oxytocin to thank for that. It’s the “Love Hormone” that shares the Power all around - available in the Science Finder at 15:00 UTC.

And finally, at 17:00 UTC, the Cephalopods pack is back, featuring the immensely popular Wunderpus Octopus card, which pulls out all the stops with a massive turn in an (equally popular) Cephalopods deck.

And at midnight UTC, the Yellow Boxfish hits all cards with a Base Power of less than 70, great for a Boxing deck, out in the Fabulous Fish pack.

Buckle in everyone, this is going to be one hell of a week.

*(Specifically, it’s the week AvidAli has been waiting for. The rest of the dev team are largely ambivalent. - Ed.)

LEAGUE RULES

—----------

Here’s something new for you. There’s only two albums that feature in the league this week, with Sea Birds (+30), Around the Reef (+50) and Ocean Mammals (+70) supporting Team Blue, and Birds (+40), Little Critters (+60) and Amphibians (+80) bringing the Green Power.

We’re delighted to say that a Penguins deck should excel this week, try playing your March of the Penguins combo with the raw permanent power that Little Penguin provides, their strength might surprise you!

Amphibian decks could see some play, with Glass Frog, Mudskipper and Wallace’s Flying Frog providing +58 Power for at least the rest of the round. Perhaps try combining the in-collection buffs from Minke Whale, Ribbon Seal, Monk Seal and Bottlenose Dolphin, which should make the Ocean Mammals deck cheap enough to add the ever-popular Testudo Formation!

There’s a Starting Energy of 17, an Energy per Turn of 13, an Energy Cap of 30 and Minimum Energy of 10.
