It’s the Circle of Life!

As we (thankfully) wave goodbye to a very hot week, our latest theme is the Circle of Life. A week of youthfulness, beginning again, and living forever! (And I hope you’ve all got the song stuck in your heads like we have.)

Starting this week’s adventure, you’ve got a chance of finding Juan Ponce de Leon, the explorer who went off in search of the Fountain of Youth (or did he?!). This new card will give your Riding the Waves cards a -1 Energy cost. Search him out in the Exciting Exploration pack from Midnight UTC (on Sunday).

In the first of our week of Element cards, you can pick up the new Fire Element card from 09:00 UTC which will give your Arts and Culture cards +10 Power if you have 2 or more Classical Elements cards in your deck. It’ll also give your fire signs +22 Power this round (that’s Aries, Leo and Sagittarius).

Then, we’re continuing with another extremely cool card in the shape of Archaea, which you can find in the Epic Monday pack from 09:00 UTC. You’ll have to think carefully about where to play this card because if you play it in your left or right slot, your Science cards will gain +18 Power for 2 turns.

Moving on, from 15:00 UTC, Hestia will be appearing in the Arts Finder pack. As the Goddess of the Hearth, if you play her in the first turn of the round and light your metaphorical hearth in her name, your opponent's cards in hand will lose -15 Power.

Now that you’re stocked up with brand new cards and are super excited for Circle of Life week at CUE, here are this week’s League Rules. You got this!

—--------------------

LEAGUE RULES

—--------------------

This week, there is a Starting Energy of 15, Energy per Turn of 15, Energy Cap of 15 and Minimum Energy of 15. That means that every single turn, there is exactly 15 Energy to play with!

Arts & Culture reigns supreme this week, picking up the top three Arena Boosts of +80 Power each! Incredible scenes, with Prominent Painters, Philosophy and Aztec Mythology collecting those massive boosts.

Prominent Painters is a great deck already, and with Halftone and Claude Monet giving power to the Common and Rare cards, that’s a good place to start when building your deck!

Confuciusornis is perfect for a Rainbow Philosophy deck, giving power from Paleontology, while Hypatia of Alexandria gives a massive -2 Energy saving to the entire collection, allowing you to make space for cards like Testudo Formation!

Picking up its own buff this week, Amaranth is a must-have alongside Aztec Mythology cards, and perhaps the Four Rulers will make it into your deck.

The Occult, Brilliant Human Body and Plant Life also all pick up +40 Power each!
