Luck, Balance and FIRE LIZARDS!

This week’s Quarter Pounder pack makes its way into the CUE store at 17:00 UTC and today is all about bringing luck and balance into your life! You’ll have the chance to find 4 brand new cards from Mythological Creatures, Japanese Folklore, Plant Life and Tarot. Let’s take and look and see what you can expect to see:

  • Salamander - the ancient Greeks believed that Salamanders were magical creatures who could resist fire (please don’t test this on any cute little lizards) and this new card will give 2 random Reptiles cards in your hand +25 Power until played
  • Fukurokuju - this long-headed lucky god will cost -3 Energy if you’re winning the round but will lose -15 Power if you’re losing instead.
  • Lotus Flower - it’s all about balance and longevity with the beautiful Lotus Flower and if you’ve won a round and lost a round this game, you’ll gain +70 Power this round.
  • Eight of Cups - this card is all about seeking something new so if you play it on the first turn of the round, you and your opponent will both gain +4 Energy.

If you manage to stay awake past Midnight UTC, you’ve got the chance of picking up the gorgeous Blue Morpho Butterfly in the Beautiful Butterflies pack, which will give you +9 Power permanently on return. Catch if before it flutters away!
