Before we start - apologise we must.
Due to the distribution of Limited Epics in today’s Cephalopods 25 Gem pack (ie. there are quite a few...), we know the Blanket Octopus was an exceptionally frustrating pull when it was released. NB This is not the usual ‘the odds aren’t working for me today’ that happens to us all from time to time. We’re talking exceptionally frustrating.
Some wire fiddling means the Blanket Octopus is appearing more often now, but if you purchased the pack before 15:13 UTC we have refunded your account with half of the gems you spent on the pack. Those gems will have just magically appeared, a few minutes ago. Again, we’re very sorry for the negative experience and we will try to avoid this happening again. (Sorry Yoda - we know there is no try, except... there kinda is.)
If you didn’t purchase that pack before 15:13 UTC, you can just ignore the above. (We should have opened with that, really.)... Meanwhile, in another part of the galaxy... Yes, indeed, it’s Star Wars Day. Can’t promise we’ll celebrate this every year so make the most of it. We pay homage with Laser Sword, Brussels Griffon, and Skellig Michael. Laser Sword is an easy one - but can you guess the relevance of the other two?
If your answer is no-and-why-would-I-want-to, well - maybe we can tempt you with the Cephalopods Gem and Coin Packs out today. With both the Blanket Octopus and Wunderpus Octopus, the Cephalopods collection itself gets a lot of support.
Elsewhere White-V Octopus leaves some damage in its wake, and Palau Nautilus combos with Fibonacci Spiral - which won’t change your game but hey, it’s mathematically satisfying.
