You've Got to Catch Them All

This morning brings the Fill Your Coffers, Boots and Cups packs at 09:00 UTC, an excellent chance to stock up on all the good stuff - gems, coins, cards and generators! And at Midnight UTC, our… is it really our first? Simpsons reference makes its way into the game, with the deliciously misspelt Donut in the Curious Cuisine pack. 

We are so excited to tell you about our Japanese Folklore release today - its first ever full-collection release! Most of you will know that this is an incredible chance to pick up awesome cards like Shuten-Doji, Daruma Doll and of COURSE, the most-revered Shinigami. BUT, it’s also a great opportunity to pick up any of the five new pocket monsters we have today. Here’s the skinny:

  • The nightmarish Futakuchi-onna gives straight power to your cards in hand, 
  • Raiju, God of Thunderstorms, utilizes its Power to creep up some Energy,
  • The drowsy Baku will really hurt one of your opponent’s cards in hand when drawn,
  • The astonishing Chōchin Obake will blow your opponent away if you’ve managed to lose a turn, and
  • Onamazu, to give a big burst of power if you’re packing loads of Oceans and Seas cards, especially if your deck contains Earthquake!
