New Shuvuuia Card!

Dan

Shuvuuia, now there's a great last-ditch Scrabble option when you've been stuffed for vowels!

Grab a copy of it for yourself in today's Triple Pack, which contains Primates and Nebulae cards too!

If you're not familiar with this prehistoric bird dude, it has two distinguishing features. The first are those tiny single-digit arms, which are specialised for digging holes (but not putting things into said holes, it seems. Imagine giving them a bit of bubble wrap though...)

Their second distinguishing feature is their independently-movable top jaw. None of the other non-avian theropods we've discovered has a top jaw that's a separate bone to the skull, but the Shuvuuia does; it's unclear what advantage this grants it though.

Maybe it's on the back of the card... nope, no it isn't. Lots of other facts, but no jaw talk. Well my delete button's broken so I can't go back and edit that bit out, publish post
