Hello! we've got plenty of cool stuff coming out today, but I'd like to start with something releasing tomorrow. This graphic may look like CUE's gone mad searching for Pepe Silvia (likely), but stay with us - it's actually all to do with our new Synergy Packs!
We've been looking for ways to introduce deckbuilding to more users, and our new Synergy Packs are a great way to get a bunch of cards that work together towards a common strategy. Every week we'll curate a selection of 18 cards - they won't necessarily make a deck by themselves, but with some adjustments they can form the core of one.
Tomorrow's Packs a Punch Synergy Pack is built around a combination of Life on Land/Oceans & Seas buffs, and the buffs given to high-power cards from Yeti and Boxing. We've loaded the pack with Life on Land and Oceans & Seas card that those two cards work with, as well as cards like Hippocampus and Crystal Red Shrimp that buff both those albums.
The pack will be available from tomorrow and, to sweeten the deal, we've also BUFFED some cards to make them fit the strategy:
Polar Bear7/70Bite Force: When played, if you are winning the round, this card has +34 Power.
Forest Giant Owl Butterfly7/70
Giraffe5/70Stick Your Neck Out: When returned to your deck, if you lost this turn, this card has -50 Power for the rest of the game. If you win the turn, it has +15 Power instead.
Ground Cuscus7/70Folivore: When played, give your opponent's Tremendous Trees and Plant Life cards (even if they're in their deck) -60 Power this turn and next.
Crystal Red Shrimp7/47Selective Breeding: When returned to your deck, give all your Oceans and Seas and Life on Land cards (even if they're in your deck) +19 Power for the rest of this round.
That's very exciting, isn't it? Right, FINALLY, onto today's cards.
Talking about packs with specially-curated contents, today's Up High & Down Low pack contains some of CUE's highest uppest and downest lowest cards, with two new high-flyers - the Sandhill Crane is another Fearsome Flyers buff, and Prospero Satellite improves your Epic Space cards (and, don't forget, works with the Black Arrow card we released yesterday!)
We've also got the penultimate Sue Black's In The Bones card, Facial Recognition, as well as a History Stitch in Time pack; a great opportunity to go hunting for History limited rares, and one more piece of the Skeleton Sequence, not respectively.
FINALLY finally - version 2.3.7 has started rolling out! This is a quick patch to fix a couple of nagging issues;
- Fix for game log card display- Fix for duplicated player power/energy effects.
