This one’s for the Completionists out there… and a little confession from us.
Until… hmm, about five/ten minutes ago at time of writing, the Summit Achievement could be earned by playing Edmund Hillary in a game on May 28th. But on further research, he and Tenzing Norgay were the first climbers to reach the summit of Mount Everest on… May 29th. 1953. Ah.
Now, despite their apparent lateness, what’s done is done on their end, so we’ve done the decent thing and changed that lachievement to be played on May 29th. Which is… today! If you’re interested!
Apologies to Edmund and Tenzing, apologies to Mount Everest and apologies to you all. And no worries if you have the Achievement already - we won’t be taking that from you.
