Roman Empire

Possibly the greatest orator to have been named after a falafel ingredient, Cicero (whose name means ‘chickpea’) famously convinced the senate to charge Catiline with plotting a violent coup.

He was also quite the neologist*. Without him we wouldn’t have ‘evidence’ of ‘humanity’ and the phrase ‘quality not quantity’ would be reduced to just... ‘not’.

Elsewhere - welcome to Circus Maximus! The Roman chariot racetrack accommodates over 150,000 spectators - more than double the capacity of the Stadio Olimpico.

This is mega, and so… um... its ability boosts all Paleo cards beginning with the word ‘Mega’. 🤷🏼

Lastly, Vibia Sabina comes with her own heartbreaking story which is why she works well with History of Heartbreak - giving cards in that collection +20 power until played.

*A person who makes up new words. But your nephew who says ‘poopydoopyhead’ doesn’t really count.
