Things get dangerous in today’s Quarter Pounder as we invite you to venture into the Evil Lair! Comic book villains from Mythical Creatures, Sea Birds and Ingenious Inventions are all waiting for you. Will you vanquish them or help them take down the hero?

  • Leviathan - this mythical sea beast will cause a splash and, when played, give your Oceans and Seas cards wherever they are +10 power for the rest of the round. If your deck contains 6 Arts & Culture cards, your Oceans and Seas will gain an additional +10 Power bonus!
  • Goblin - this mischievous fellow is something of a villain himself and, when drawn, gives all cards with a cost of 1 or less Energy, +10 Power and increases their Energy cost by +1 until played.
  • Snares Penguin - this flightless bird will murder you momentarily but, when returned to your deck, if you lost the turn, this card costs -4 Energy until played.
  • Rorschach Test - what do you see? Villain or antihero? When drawn, if your deck contains 2 or more Crustaceans, give your “Bat” cards +15 Power permanently. When played, if your deck contains 2 or more “Bat” cards, give your Beautiful Butterflies cards +15 Power permanently, and last but not least, if your deck contains 2 or more Beautiful Butterflies cards, give your Crustaceans cards +15 Power permanently. Phew.
