It might feel like you’re dreaming but this week marks the start of a brand new release format for CUE! As we float into Dream Circus week, we’ll be changing things up with changes to some of our current packs and a whole load of brand new ones. Expect more regular collection appearances, a better chance of finding new cards, and some exciting new packs we can’t wait to share with you! Let’s dive in.
9:00 UTC
The week starts with a regular new cosmetic pack, the first being a Card Back. Every week, we’ll be bringing you a brand new card back or deck sleeve and it’ll cost gems, giving you more opportunities to personalise your decks. Today’s dreamy card back also comes with 3 Limited Rares or higher!
12:00 UTC
The League pack is staying exactly as you know it and this week’s pack features cards from Space Oddities, Curious Cuisine and Monsters of the Deep.
We’ve also got the Space Cadet pack staying in this Monday slot, with coins, gems and Limited cards!
Fearsome Flyers kicks off the new collection packs, with a new collection in rotation every 2 days. If it’s giving you “Wednesday pack” vibes, that’ll be because it’s a very similar format, just with 2 new cards in each release, as opposed to the 4 new cards in the former.
The gem packs have been shaken up, consisting of 2 cards from the collection, 6 random Basics and a 10% chance for one of the new cards for 30 gems, while the coin packs will now offer a 20% chance for a card from that collection and 6 random Basics for 4000 coins!
Now, back to some ancient beasties that can fly through your dreams and/or nightmares:
Midnight UTC
The Basic packs will be sticking close to the format you know and love, keeping the 20% chance of a Limited card but now adding a bonus 10% chance of the new card, making some of those Basic Legendary chases a lot easier on your coin count! If you’re looking to see the new format in action for yourself, or just looking for something that’ll haunt your dreams, the Molluscs, Worms and Waterbugs pack has you covered with the Giant Tube Worms. These sulphurous squiggles will, when played with Sulphur, give your opponent's cards in-hand -14 Power until played.

LEAGUE RULES
-----------------------
This week, there’s a Starting Energy of 15, an Energy per Turn of 15, an Energy Cap of 30 and Minimum Energy of 10.
With Space Oddities picking up an enormous +110 Power in the Space Arena, pairing Blanet with Black Hole is an efficient way of bringing Power to this collection.
We’re sure to see Curious Cuisine this week, as it’s absolutely loaded with synergies throughout the albums and sees +70 Power this week. You could try Lemon Slice Nebula to mix in some Space Oddities, or alongside the World Turtle or Statue of Liberty, or you could go for a full Curious Cuisine feast with Ka’ak El Eid, Deep-Fried Mars Bar and Glühwein.
Monsters of the Deep pick up +60 Power this week, making it a great time to build a mono-Paleo deck using in-collection support from Mawsonia, Tylosaurus and Psephoderma.
Espionage gets +55 Power this week, while Bugs and Funky Funghi also pick up +40 Power.
