Featured Cards
Some of you have spotted that certain cards in certain packs have been coming through with higher frequency than their advertised odds.
This is deliberate. We wanted players to get more desirable cards at a higher frequency than the published odds. (The other cards came out at the odds shown.) It seemed like a good thing to do, and we like to give nice surprises.
The tricky thing is - it’s not fully transparent. (Nice surprises and full transparency tend to be mutually exclusive. Boo.)
So we have decided to move to a fully transparent set-up in the next few weeks, which we’re calling ‘Featured Cards’, and we’ll always let you know exactly which cards these are for each pack.
We didn’t particularly want to say this is what we were doing, but after seeing the concerns raised in the community, we think it’s better than players being unsure about what’s going on. It’s a bit like getting a voucher instead of a gift-wrapped present: the element of surprise is gone, but you’ll know exactly what you’re getting.

Take on shady secret organisations and save the world with today’s Avatar packs. Choose either the stalwart Falcon with bonus Life on Land cards and gems or the stoic Winter Soldier (this one has both arms, we promise) with some extra History cards and gems. Go make Captain America proud!

Grab some free gems with the Advent Day 2 pack and make sure you’ve got your notifications turned on for the Festive Flash pack, which will pop up sometime today. When? I don’t know. Nobody told me either!

You won’t miss today’s Paleo Finder pack because it’s attempting to hide a giant Cave Bear! This 3.5m tall bear will, when drawn, if your deck contains at least 3 Natural Monuments cards, give your Mammals and Ice Age cards +25 Power until played.
And of course, it’s Friday so get ready for the weekend with the Fusion Friday pack and the Rainbow pack, too!
