Hey folks,
There’s a fairly chunky shift hitting the shop next week, and it starts with phrases like “Kill the Season Reloader.” So that’s the vibe.
It might feel a little brutal (because it kind of is), but there’s a method behind the massacre: structure, clarity, and ideally, less chaos.
Here’s a preview of some of what’s getting the chop:
Album Seeker Packs
Replaced by Album Legendary Packs. Especially with Album Finder DX in the mix, there were too many packs doing the same thing.Fire and Flame Gem PackToo similar in price and value to other packs. It’s clutter at this point.
Season Reloader, Kickstarter, Recap, Catch-Up Packs, and Season Bonus/Super/Mega Bundles
The seasonal format is going away. These were tied to that. So now, they go away too. These changes also reduce the number of competing offers in the shop, so it should be more straightforward to find what’s best for you. We know the catch-up packs were popular and we’ll be reviewing if/how to include a successor in the future.
Podium Pack & Podium 3-for-2
Now that Collection Packs are available for Coins, these have lost their place. We’re also aware that newer players may not be immediately aware of the Limited/Basic Legendary distinction; removing these packs also helps avoid confusion.
Spotlight DX
Given the permanent presence of Album Legendary Packs and Collection Packs in the shop, we’ll be removing this pack and evaluating if/how we’d like to do similar releases in the future.
Gold Standard Pack
AvidGrant, your friendly neighborhood game economist here to provide an official send off to the one and only Gold Standard. Because it’s still Cyberspace Season, I’m going to borrow a line from Morpheus: “What happened, happened and couldn’t have happened any other way.” There’s just one problem: It was genuinely economy-breaking. Perhaps it will be reincarnated in another form in the future, but for now please join me in saying farewell to a pack for the ages. RIP Gold Standard (2025-2025).

That’s the cull. The goal: a tidier shop, less overlap, and a clearer path to the good stuff. Plus, more room for what’s next.
