Icelandic actor and strongman Hafthór Björnsson set the world record for the deadlift at a staggering 502kg.

His record, however, is widely disputed within the weightlifting community as he attempted the feat during lockdown in his own home (without competition conditions).

This, along with egos to match their bulk, has led to Björnsson and the previous record holder Eddie Hall to settle their long-running beef in the boxing ring. Cha-ching!
