It’s time to meet the Undying! This week is all about the ancient, the death-defying, and the immortals that send a chill down your spine and make you feel about as significant as a flea. Let’s go find out their secrets!

Start things off with the Elixir of Life pack, which unfortunately won’t make you young again but will stock you up on coins, gems and Limited cards.

The Undying League pack will get you ready for eternal battles with cards from Chinese Folklore, Amazing Astronauts and Philosophy. The League rules can also be found below so don’t forget to check them out and start building those mighty decks!

An exciting series of 8 Immortals packs launch today with 2 brand new cards! Every day, we’ll have a pack with a chance of finding one of the 8 Immortals of Chinese Folklore. In the first of these packs, you’ll find a FREE copy of He Xiangu. The only woman in the group will, when played, if your deck contains at least 3 of the Eight Immortals, give your Plant Life cards wherever they are +22 Power for 2 turns, and your Eight Immortals cards +10 Power wherever they are for 2 turns.

But you don’t have to wait to continue your collection! Also available will be the second 8 Immortals pack, this time with a chance to find Cao Guojiu. The poshest of the Taoist Immortals will, when played, if you have played at least 3 Eight Immortals this game, give your Stage and Screen cards +18 Power for 2 turns and give your Eight Immortals cards +10 Power for 2 turns..

In today’s Epic Monday pack, the limit certainly does exist when you’re talking about the Hayflick Limit. This is the number when our cells stop reproducing and start to die. Oh dear. When drawn, give your cards in hand -10 Power permanently, and give 5 random Dizzying Discoveries cards, wherever they are, +20 Power permanently.

In the Arts Finder you’ll find a brand new whimsical World of Words card. It’s Thinking About the Immortality of the Crab - a Spanish idiom that describes when your brain runs away with a thought and you wind up in a bit of a rabbit hole on a random topic. Which is actually how we come up with many of the cards for CUE! When drawn, reduce the energy cost of your Crustaceans cards in-hand by -1 Energy until played.

Risky business for undying week - there’s a Starting Energy of 50, Energy per Turn of 12, Energy Cap of 60 and a Minimum Energy of just 8!

With Chinese Folklore taking home +100 Power this week, why not try combining Mandarin Duck with Jade Emperor for boosts to lower-rarity decks? Keep an eye out every day this week too for a total of 8 (8!) new Chinese Folklore cards in store! Legend has it, they’re immortal… 

John Glenn and Guion Bluford are still great candidates for an Amazing Astronauts deck, especially when paired with Radical Rockets using Gennady Padalka and Sally Ride’s abilities. Useful since Amazing Astronauts get +80 Power this week!

You’ll need Confuciusornis to make the best use of Philosophy’s +75 Power, as when paired with Confucius himself, the collection picks up a ginormous +34 Power until played. With Fatalism’s +50 permanent Power to two random Philosophy cards, it might finally be time for this deck to pull out some big numbers!

‍Egyptian Mythology gets a mystical  +60 Power this league, Excellent Elements gets a sensible +55 Power and Marvellous Medicine gets a… marvellous…  +50 Power.
