You’re Going to Need a Bigger Boat

If you see the CUE store filled with bubbles today it’s because there’s a whole shoal of new cards and packs passing through! First up is the Deep Dive Mega Pack at 09:00 UTC with cards from Cool Cats, Ancient Creatures and Plundering Pirates. A veritable treasure trove if you’re looking to top up those collections!

We've also got another FREE Thank You pack in store this morning for you guys to check out, to thank you (again!) for your patience while we've been dealing with some particularly pesky bugs!

From 12:00 UTC, another of those deadly Sea Serpent packs is approaching and this time, it’s the frightful Nāga. When played with Bakunawa and the final sea serpent (released on Saturday!), will give them both +15 Power this turn. Better keep swimming before it spots you!

Don’t think you can find safety in the Quarter Pounder pack, because it’s also bursting with beasts and terrifying sea creatures and they’re all looking for something to take a bite out of from 17:00 UTC:

  • Sea Goat - this mythical creature is written in your stars because when played with Capricorn, it’ll give your Signs of the Zodiac cards +8 Power permanently.
  • Umibozu - this sea spirit might mean there are rough seas ahead because, when played, your Oceans and Seas cards lose -20 Power this turn, however when returned to your deck, your Oceans and Seas cards gain +20 Power for two turns.
  • Cetus - this big beastie will swallow you whole and, when played, will give your Monsters of the Deep cards +10 Power this turn.
  • Tully Monster - probably the card in this pack that freaks this news writer out the most - just look at it! When drawn, your cards with 70 or more Base Power gain +22 Power until played, then, when returned to your deck, a random card in hand that costs 7 or more Energy costs -2 Energy for 3 turns.

If you do decide to come up for air at all today, you’ll find the ever stunning Arts Rare pack from 15:00 UTC with Arts and Culture cards that you’ll want to frame and hang in a museum. 

Or, if you make it to the coast, you might find some cards from the Amphibians pack which will be hopping about the store from Midnight UTC. You could even find the brand new European Fire-Bellied Toad, which when played, if you have lost at least one round in this game, will give your Common and Rare Amphibian cards +20 Power until played.
